Hayden loves to wait with the kids for the school bus in the morning. He sometimes is dressed and sometimes he's not but he always has his backpack on like everyone else. I think it even weighs more, he has all kinds of toys and stuff crammed in there. It's cute to watch him running around with all the big kids and he even lines up when the bus comes.
A week ago Parker and Kaleb were heading out and Alani wasn't
quite ready yet. Hayden wanted to go with the boys so I put Parker in charge while I tried to hurry Alani. The bus came before Alani and I could get out there and Parker came running back in to get her. The problem with that is he was suppose to be in charge of Hayden! Eric was also in the process of leaving and as I went running out the door to find Hayden, Eric was already out the gate and heading for Hayden at the bus. Hayden had managed to get all the way on the bus and was sitting in a seat ready to go. He was all smiles and all the children on the bus were cheering for him. He was so proud of himself and I do believe it was the highlight of his day.These pictures are not from that day but a couple of days after. I believe he was dressed the same way on that day...pajamas and cowboy boots!

I love that story! Hayden cracks me up! I'm glad you put it on your blog! I just keep seeing that little face peeking over the seat! It makes me smile!

That's hilarious! Traekon keeps begging me to ride the bus, but we only live 3 blocks away!

So fun! They always want to go when they can't and then change their minds when they HAVE to! I LOVE the cowboy boots, it completes the enssamble!
