3 Years, 2 Months

Three years, 2 months ago I was called to be Relief Society President of our ward. Three years, 2 months later I've been released. I still can't believe it's over. While in it I was for sure that I would have it for the rest of my life. This has been the longest, hardest, most rewarding calling I have had so far. It took me completely out of my comfort zone and made me grow in areas that I would of rather of never awakened. I'm amazed that I survived, but then again I'm not. I knew Heavenly Father would help me and make things possible. I'm a little sad to leave such a huge part of my life behind but I will take what I've learned and try to be a better person because of it. I'm excited for what lies ahead and even more excited to know that I don't have any more meetings to attend! I love this church, I love this gospel!

They called me as the Ward Organist. What a great calling! (Dream one actually.) It gets even better I share the responsiblity with the girl who is currently playing the piano. She does the prelude and the rest hymn, I do the other 3. I don't have to go early and I can sit with my family for most of it!

Malia, you were the right girl for the job these last three years, and I know everyone is grateful for all you did.

You have more than earned a little bit of a break from meetings!

Malia - I am sorry to hear about your mom. Losing a loved one is a hard thing to have to go through. It is nice to know that you will be able to be with her again though. My prayers and thoughts are with you.
